Abby's First Day

Today Abby and I began Heart of Dakota's Little Hands to Heaven preschool curriculum.  It brought back so many memories of doing the very same activities with Rachel a few years ago.  Yet it is such a different experience going through it again with Abby who is a completely different child.

Abby loved the fingerplay which was always something that Rachel didn't want to participate in.  Abby is definitely our musical/kinesthetic, Wiggly Wilma personality.  She has a sweet heart for the Lord and it is such a privilege to watch her childlike faith grow.  She talks a lot about Jesus and how she wishes He could hold her.  She desires Him and wants to know more about Him.

Today was a busy day homeschooling first grade, preschool, and taking care of our little man, but it was well worth it.  I especially loved hearing Abby say, "You were right Mommy.  Preschool is a lot of fun!"
